Statement Match emails each vendor for this month's statement, reminds the ones who don't send it, reads the statements, and lists invoices missing from AP, unapplied credits and unposted payments.
Each request names your company first, asks plainly for the month's statement of account, and sends replies to your own AP inbox. Vendors marked "statement only" are never emailed; their statements are matched when you upload them.
Document numbers are compared without prefixes, leading zeros and punctuation, so INV-0048811 on a statement is 48811 in your ERP. Open items the statement leaves off are listed for information.

Any system that exports open AP items and recent payments as CSV or Excel, such as NetSuite, Sage, Acumatica, Epicor or QuickBooks Desktop. You map the columns once and it remembers them. There is no direct connection to your ERP.
On day 3 of each month it emails every vendor whose statement hasn't arrived and asks them to upload it through a no-login link. You can also upload statements your vendors already sent you.
No. It reads your export and the statements, and you review each extracted line before it appears in the exception list. The statement file is kept as uploaded for 13 months; bank and remittance details are stripped from the text and lines Statement Match extracts from it.
A scanned PDF has no text to read, so it goes to manual entry: you type its lines beside the preview. Text PDFs, Excel and CSV statements are read automatically.
It stops after the day-12 reminder and lists the vendor in your day-14 and month-end digests, so you know whom to call.
