Split a utility bill with RUBS, free
By occupants, square feet or equal shares, with vacant days kept by the owner. No sign-up and no email address. Your rent roll is read in memory and not kept.
How the split works
Every unit in the file shares the bill unless its column for this utility says the tenant or the owner pays it. Each lease's share is its unit's occupants, square feet or one equal share, times its days in the service period: a tenant who moved in on the 12th pays from the 12th. With vacant days kept by the owner, an empty unit's share is the owner's.
Shares are worked out in whole cents and add up to the bill exactly. You can download them as a charge CSV.
This follows the rule you choose, not your state's or city's billback rules, and is not legal advice.
