Questions
Do my carriers need an account or an app?
No. Each request names your brokerage and the load, with a link for each load. The carrier's dispatch opens it and uploads a photo or PDF of the signed POD. If they reply to the email instead, the reply comes to you.
Does it connect to my TMS?
Not directly. Upload the rate confirmations you already send, or a CSV of delivered loads exported from your TMS. Checked PODs download as files to attach to your invoice.
What happens if a POD shows damage, a shortage or no signature?
It is never marked ready to bill. It goes to your review list with the reason, and you decide.
How will a carrier know the email is from my brokerage?
Your brokerage name and the load number are in the subject line, and every email is signed with your brokerage name and MC number. A carrier gets at most one email a day from you, covering all of their loads.
How long are PODs kept?
13 months after delivery, long enough for claims and audits, and then the files are deleted. Delete a load and its files are deleted with it.
