For quality managers at ISO 9001 and AS9100 machine shops

Know which gauges are due before your auditor does

Import your gauge spreadsheet. Every Monday the quality manager and each gauge owner get what is due in the next 30 days, and the master list is ready to print for your audit.

The recall list comes to them

The spreadsheet only works if someone sorts it by due date every week. Gauge Recall does the sorting and sends the list.

  • QUALITYThe whole shop: overdue, due in your recall window, late from the lab, open out-of-tolerance reviews, and certificates waiting for you.
  • OWNERSEach gauge owner gets only their own gauges, each with a link that opens the calibration form. No login for them.
  • ALERTS14 days before a gauge is due, and on the day. Nothing is sent when nothing is due.
What it does

From the spreadsheet you have to a list your auditor can read

01 · IMPORT
Import your gauge list from Excel or CSV, whatever your columns are called

Paste the cells or upload a CSV. Match the columns, see every row with its problems, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

02 · REMIND
Monday email to each gauge owner with what's due, then alerts 14 days out and on the due date

Intervals like "12 mo", "annual" or "Q" are read for you, and next due is worked out from the last cal.

03 · LOG
Log an in-house calibration from your phone: as-found, as-left, master used, pass or fail

One form. The next due date is set from the interval, and an out-of-tolerance find opens a review.

04 · FILE
Upload a lab certificate and the dates are read and matched to the gauge for you to confirm

Several PDFs or photos at once. A certificate is filed only when you confirm it.

On the floor

Most gauges never leave the building

Calipers, micrometers, pin gauges and indicators are checked in-house against your masters. The owner taps the link in their Monday email, fills in one form, and the gauge's next due date moves on.

  • Masters are tracked tooFlag a gauge block set or setting ring as a master and pick it on each calibration.
  • Out of tolerance gets a reviewIt stays open in the Monday email until someone notes which jobs were affected and closes it.
Audit day

The master list, ready to print

Every active gauge with its ID, serial, location, owner, interval, last cal, next due and status, overdue rows marked. Print it or save it as a PDF, and print any gauge's full history with its certificate numbers.

  • History is append-onlyA correction is a new entry that names the one it corrects. Both stay visible.
  • Your records are yoursExport your gauges and calibration history as CSV from the gauge list.

Questions

What about gauges we calibrate in-house?

Most shop gauges never leave the building. Log each in-house calibration from a phone: as-found, as-left, the master used, pass or fail and your initials. The next due date is set from the gauge's interval.

Does it work with our calibration lab?

With any lab. Upload the certificate PDF or a photo; it reads the gauge ID or serial, calibration date, due date and result, and you confirm before it is filed. A gauge out at the lab longer than you allow with no certificate is flagged, and you can have the lab emailed once asking for it.

What does it cost?

$79 a month by card, flat, with unlimited gauges and gauge owners. One sign-in for the quality manager; owners and quality staff each get their own link. Cancel anytime.
